ABOUT ME


Practicing yoga regularly (for almost 20 years!) has changed my relationship with my body and my spirit, and I am grateful for the chance to help others feel the connection to themselves through movement, breathing, stillness, and joy.

In 2018, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Alberta Yoga College. Since then, I have taught more than a thousand hours, online & in person. I have been - and continue to be - influenced and inspired by many amazing teachers, as well as authors, poets and artists.

I hope you join me, online or in person. You can do yoga, and you are welcome here.

Frequently asked questions

Anyone can do yoga! You don't have to be flexible or think of yourself as athletic. Please go to the Yoga On Demand Library & watch the video "So you're new to yoga with Sara"; it'll give you an overview of the practice, the use of props, and what to expect.
And you can always book a one-on-one session, if you want!

Sara makes lots of modification suggestions throughout her classes, so you can make the practice work for your body. Adding a variety of props like blocks, a strap, and a bolster can also be really helpful!

Absolutely! Sara's Yoga Events are open to all - you are welcome to join even if you don't love online classes, haven't done much yoga, and are just looking for connection.
